  After me having suffered excruciating toothache for six days with little sleep, and painkillers only lasting an hour, my wife and I, on holiday from England, called at the St-George's d'Oleron tourist information centre as the doors opened. We met Stephane who could not have been more helpful and polite. He explained there were no emergency dentists on the island so he would have to try to find an emergency doctor. After a long telephone call on my behalf he had arranged an appointment for that afternoon. Stephane even gave us his personal number in case of having to be an intermediary later. I saw a wonderful doctor who prescribed painkillers, anti biotics and anti inflammatories. Result: first nights sleep in 6 days, for ten hours, no pain. Dentist appointment at home next week. Thank you Stephane for saving our holiday and giving exceptional help to a tourist in distress. Very much appreciated.

  With a toilet, church and a marketplace closely. Very good service! They do anything for you
