Le Chai de la Grand'Côte The Charente Maritime producers in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron

Located north of the fishing port of La Cotinière, in the town of Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, our vineyard consists of generations to 26 hectares.

Originally a white Ugni grape, destined for the distillation of eaux de vie for the production of Cognac, it has gradually been enriched with grape varieties such as Colombard, for whites, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc for the reds (Wines of Country and Pineau des Charentes).

Our first Pineau des Charentes vintage, vintage 2000, was bottled in 2002. Since then, we have been producing, raising and bottling all our Pineau des Charentes, Cognac, Liqueurs and Charentais wines from the island of Oléron.
