      A bit of history

      Ars-en-Ré is a village of character, whose Saint-Etienne church is the main witness of a turbulent past. Its black and white bell tower once served as a landmark for sailors before the construction of lighthouses.

    Please note, at the end of the shows, the lack of lighting should be reviewed. An incident took my wife to the emergency room in La Rochelle.
