Family business from father to son since 1937, Maison Margat invites you to stop for a break in its establishment to discover its production of oysters and mussels reared from A to Z in Fouras. A know-how transmitted for 5 generations.
As the only shellfish farmers in the area, it is possible to purchase these products and other seafood (trays made to order) at retail and/or taste them in an idyllic setting in the tasting area provided. Authenticity, friendliness and tranquility are the hallmarks of the House.
A la carte from April to October? An iodized cure: oysters, mussels and fries (in season), brown crab, prawns, gray prawns, whelks... All with your feet almost in the water!
Didier, Mike, Laurent, Faustine and Laëtitia welcome you to Maison Margat throughout the year (opening hours depending on the season).
