    Fantastic day biking around Ile de Ré. Pierrich at the “foot of the bridge” location (essentially two storage containers) was helpful, functionally bilingual, and answered all our questions. Our tandem bike wasn’t perfect but it did the job and was in good condition. Riding over the bridge isn’t so easy in strong wind but it’s only 3km, and half of that is downhill. Definitely a great thing to do with a full day in La Rochelle.

    The Pont de Ré is very nice to see. At the right time you can take very atmospheric photos. Best when the sun is lower in the backlight.
