What a disappointment … we have been visiting 8 times this hotel and spa for the last 10 years and were always charmed by the beauty of the site and the kindness of the employees. both are still valid points but 1/ the hotel is decaying super fast 2/ the restaurant food is not home made, it is overcooked or dry ( no chef !!) and 3/ the spa is not worth anymore the experience ( 1 or 2 professional massage therapists in the midst of amateurs) , machines are past expiration limit or broken down! We understand this is end of life for this hotel as new owner / management is about to rebuild the place entirely. However, this is not an excuse as prices stayed the same !!!not sure we ll be back … unfortunately… sorry …

Totally oversold on the website. Location is very remote, OK if you want that. Room was dirty, fridge was dirty, bathroom had black mould, pool had algae in it and around the steps. The external aspects of the hotel were in a poor state of repair. Breakfast was fabulous, the way they looked after our dog was nice. But for the price not good value at all.

we stayed for the third time and it's absolutely great. Long beach walks and also through the woods are available at your doorstep. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean (even though we brought 2 dogs) and altough many dogs reside at the hotel you don't hear the bark or cause any noise disruption. The terrasse is a very nice spot to relax and enjoy cold drinks and small snacks.

Great landscape One of the server was non accommodating at all & not listening to his customers’ wishes. Specifically on the desserts like the baba au cognac which was not at all what was expected...

You cant get better location, on a huge sand beach. If you can, get a room with ocean view. If you like walking or running, you can easliy do a 8-10km directly from the hotel. Breakfast choice is...
