Motorways A10 and A83 will take you La Rochelle, but if you prefer to take your time and discover the beautiful landscapes of the region, take the national road 10 and 11. Do not forget that the access bridge to île de Ré has a toll and the Oléron’s bridge will soon have one too. Plan an additional budget of €4,85 in winter and €9,70 in summer for a small car).

BY TRAIN

Paris Montparnasse to La Rochelle is 2H50 by TGV. Interrail train “Corail” also serves the train stations of Saintes, Rochefort and Royan from Paris Austerlitz.
