Ein toller Campingplatz am äußersten Zipfel der Île de Ré! Wir waren im September 2024 für eine Woche dort. Der Platz ist wunderschön ruhig, mit sehr großen, überwiegend abgetrennten Stellplätzen, die größtenteils auch für die Sommermonate Schatten bieten. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind sehr freundlich und sprechen diverse Sprachen (unter anderem auch Deutsch). Der Brötchenservice war klasse. Der Sanitär-Bereich ist sauber und gut nutzbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden. Aber in Saint-Clément gibt es einen kleinen Minimarkt, der mit ca. 2 km Entfernung auch fußläufig erreichbar ist. Größere Supermärkte gibt es in Ars en Ré oder Les Portes-en-Ré. Wirklich herausragend ist die Lage der Platzes: Wer Ruhe, Natur und und die Weite des Atlantiks sucht, ist hier richtig. Weitläufige Strandabschnitte sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Auch ein Gang durch die Salzgärten ist lohnenswert.

Camping Whales = "Camping Les Baleines" Anfahrt wegen 🚧 z.Zt. Spannend. Service an der Rezeption sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kleine und große Plätze, mit/ohne Schatten, einfach fragen. Platz liegt quasi hinterm Deich und windgeschützt, was einige Mücken freut.🤷‍♂️ Bäder sauber und recht neu, Toiletten mit Klopapier🫶🏻. Zwei Durchgänge zum Wasser. Bei Flut keine gute Idee zu Baden, wegen der Wellen brechenden Steine. Immerhin gibt es am Ende des Campingplatzes einen SandStrand. Bei Ebbe werden an dem felsigen Abschnitt mit Wathosen Austern gesammelt. Leuchtturm fußläufig zu erreichen. Im Bereich vor dem Leuchtturm sind Restaurants und Souvenir-Stände. ⚠️Campingplatz schließt am 21.09.⚠️ Es hat uns gut gefallen und wir haben noch einen Tag drangehängt. NebenSaison: mit ACSI 24€32 / Tag Strom incl.
