  Restaurant at the foot of the Deux Tours in La Rochelle, the setting is idyllic for a good meal. The waitress is smiling and cheerful. The hamburgers, even "simple", are hearty and excellent. No classic carafe of water offered but rather filtered water for a symbolic €1. Recommended address if you are passing through the quays.

  Go on your way! I ordered a main course and a dessert to benefit from the main course + dessert formula for €18.50. When it was time to pay, the waitress finally told me €26.50 under the pretext that we had not “told the waiter that we were taking the dessert main course” even though we had asked for a dessert main course. The waitress openly makes fun of us, laughs and does not offer the asking price corresponding to what we ate. (Which by the way is not worth that price, even on the terrace)
