Les Écuries de L'Aubrée Carriage / Horse / Donkey rides in Échillais

Located a few kilometers from Rochefort, in the town of Échillais, the Écuries de L'Aubrée equestrian center benefits from a Écuries de L'Aubrée natural environment preserved to practice horse riding in all serenity.

Versatile and open to all equestrian disciplines, they are available and motivated to carry out their mission: to bring each student to establish a harmonious and instructive relationship with the animal.

The Aubrée area has the equipment suitable for competitive or leisure riding. They are made available to the equestrian center, owners and breeding.

The rural location of the equestrian center, in the heart of the Rochefort region, offers an ideal environment for leisure horse riding, with its country paths of several kilometers (walks, hikes, trecs...).

DISCIPLINES AND ACTIVITIES :

The equestrian center offers to practice horse riding as a hobby or a sport, according to the objectives and expectations of each rider, both pony and horse.

• Education :

The main activity of the equestrian center is riding instruction on horses and ponies, provided to children and adults alike. For this, riding lessons are given throughout the school year with a follow-up of each rider. At the end of the year, they can sit for the federal exams validated by the French Equestrian Federation.

• Competition :

Riders who wish can participate in competitions according to their level. These competitions are regularly organized by the club, on the site of the Domaine de l'Aubrée, or outside in other equestrian centers in the region. The disciplines to be competed are the complete horse riding competition (CCE), dressage, the show jumping competition (CSO), archery, and pony game.

• Leisure :

The equestrian center is also turning to outdoor riding by offering outings:

• hikes over one or more days,
• themed outings (a day at the beach)
• nocturnal walks
• TREC training (outdoor competition)
