Located in the town of St Georges d'Oléron, La Ferme aux Ânes is a place to discover with your family.
From the free visit to the "Little Farmers" workshops, through the donkey tours or the carriage tours, all our activities are adapted to the different public welcomed.
Created in 2008, the agricultural company "Les Ânes d'Oléron" is mainly based on equids, including the Baudet du Poitou.
From the annual pension to the training in asinine traction through the reception of the public in situation of handicap, the free visits of the pedagogical farm and the cleaning of the beaches assisted by the donkeys, this structure values the asinine species in all its virtues.
Moreover since 2022, the structure has developed in the services of eco-pasture with a herd of Poitevin goats and ewes Landes de Bretagne. The various animations on the Farm will allow you to discover our profession of breeder.
A store with organic donkey milk soaps, children's books and cuddly toys will complete your visit to the farm.
Without forgetting our local organic bar where you can taste our beer "Île et Elle" or our lemonades from Oleron.DRIVING, A REAL PASSION AT THE DONKEY FARM !
Accompanied by an experienced driver, you will ride along the paths around the farm to discover our livestock. It will also be the occasion to exchange with your guide on our jobs and our and our animals.
This is an activity to be done with the whole family. Our carriages are equipped to be driven in all weathers (rain or shine).

ur donkeys, our draft horses or our mules are trained to this practice. We adapt the number and the size of the animals according to the load and the duration of the activity.
The price is 40€ for a 30 minutes circuit for a group of 4 to 5 people. Possibility to take up to 12 people.

Giant tricycle pulled by a donkey, discover the farm with a passionate guide.
Initially created for people with reduced mobility, this small cart is particularly adapted for families with young children. Your guide will suggest you to enter the parks of the educational farm for an unforgettable session of cuddles with your family.
Maximum 4 people.
35€ per half hour, 60€ per hour depending on availability.

After a break of 2 years (2021 and 2022), the circuits start again at La Ferme aux Ânes!
Family activity, the parents (or grandparents) accompany the children from 3 years old (until 40 kg) by guiding the donkey. The path is secure on a flat course, without pitfalls. The material is adapted, we provide the riding helmets and we propose you disposable "charlottes" on request.
Our donkeys are all trained to walk at a walk.
This will be an opportunity to discover the farm at the pace of the donkey.
The activity lasts 30 minutes with a circuit on the back of the donkey of 20 minutes for 12,50€ per donkey.
