  A haven of peace, an exceptional welcome! We had an absolutely perfect stay with a close friend in this family hotel in Ars-en-Ré. As soon as we arrived, we were won over by the kindness and kindness of the owners. This adorable couple takes great care, always available, with real sincere attention to the well-being of their guests. One of the great strengths of this place is the welcome reserved for dogs. Here, our four-legged companions aren't just "tolerated" for commercial reasons — they are truly welcome. We feel all the love that the owners have for the animals, and for the art of welcoming, and that makes all the difference. The hotel is charming, very clean, perfectly maintained, with a friendly and very soothing atmosphere. Everything is done to make you feel at home, and it works wonderfully. A big thank you for this unforgettable stay — we will come back without hesitation, my little Italian greyhound was as pampered as us and the immense beach just opposite as well as the salt marshes were just magic for long walks in complete safety.

  We spent two nights in this hotel, we were not able to take a single hot shower (which is bad in November), which according to the lady at reception was "normal"... We may have had the wrong room. It's not for lack of trying to take showers at different times (8 a.m., 4 p.m., 10 p.m....) The lady (different from the first) apologized for the inconvenience during our outing, because according to her it was not normal... A little disappointed despite a pleasant setting and a cute mushroom

  Nice week stay at the Martray. You must book room 8,9,10 on first floor with a sea view. These are small but comfortable. The food is ok with an attractive lunch menu. Cycles are available upon booking.
