  Vous avez raison, l'amabilité n'est pas du tout le style de la maison ! Ceci fait d'ailleurs notre réputation !!! C'est bien vrai ça ! Accueil DETESTABLE ! A FUIR ABSOLUMENT ! Jamais vu de dégustation ! Impossible de choisir ce que l'on désire mettre dans les ballotins ! Pas commerçant du tout ! L'apprentie qui souffle pour ne pas vous servir et le pire, le vendeur imbu de sa petite personne ! Bref, je suis allée dépenser mes sous plus de 250 € chez un autre bon chocolatier de La Rochelle, car vous n'êtes pas les seuls et surtout plus commerçant et plus AIMABLE que vous ! Difficile de trouver pire comme accueil ! D'ailleurs on n'est pas accueilli du tout ni bonjour ni au revoir ! Faut arrêter de DEDAIGNER LES CLIENTS ! et vous la " PETER" ! Le commerce ce n'est pas cela ! Egalement, je me réserve le,droit de porter plainte contre vous pour; Refus de vente ! (propos de votre vendeur ! ). A bon entendeur salut ! Pour infos; je suis restée correcte, cela n'était pas compliqué de peser quelques friandises avant etc.... Je ne prends personne pour des larbins et je n'ai jamais dit "Faites ce que je dis " ! Ce n'est pas ma façon de m'exprimer et je n'aurais pas fait le "Buzz" sur internet comme vous le signalez ! Quelle honte d'avoir de tels propos ! D'ailleurs, le client qui est sorti en même temps que moi, n'avait pas acheté finalement de qu'il souhaitait ! Bref, A FUIR ! +++ Il y a d'autres bons et vrais commerçants sur La Rochelle, heureusement . Ce genre d'attitude est inadmissible ! "Heureusement que vous donnez toujours le meilleur de vous même ! 3 " car que doit doit être le pire de vous même, ça fait peur !

  Mr. Michel HUVELIN, chocolatier since 1963 (a good year except for some like JFK and the USA). Shop located near the LR central market, at 27 rue Gambetta (not far from the Cafés du Président MERLING). We often pass by without stopping, without daring to enter: but what a mistake! This Master Craftsman not only has experience, but above all a Great Talent. In fact, I struggled to find high-quality Calissons d’Aix in LR available all year round. EUREKA! But at the end of the road, it’s Chez HUVELIN. Personally, I even find the HUVELIN Calissons thinner than those from Thuriès in Beaulieu (where it is easier to park, it is true). So above all, if you are in the Central Market area in LR, this is where you need to go. I would even say that the pleasure of this tasting almost makes you forget the bitter taste of the price of parking at LR. Indeed, Mr. HUVELIN's Calissons d'Aix (not Higelîn) are brilliantly made, at the height of refinement, dosed to perfection in all its components and above all, of the right taste, delicately balanced and, more difficult, perfect on the back -taste. We preserve the subtlety of this high-quality artisanal creation at the back of the Palace. In short, you will have understood, it is happiness in the mouth. And in these gloomy times, to forget the daily doldrums a little, take 5 minutes of pure Pleasure. Mr. HUVELIN's creations are, without doubt, worthy of King René. Rating (without hesitation): 20/20. I now know where to find the best Calissons all year round in LA ROCHELLE (editor's note: and according to my friends, great chocolate lovers, it also does more than hold its own across the entire range of its products). Price perfectly justified by the Quality offered and the Passion put into the production. You only live once, so you might as well taste the Best.

  Small chocolate shop not easy to find behind the market. The chocolates are made in the region. They are excellent and it's a real change from industrial. A desire for change, specialties, different chocolates, a small gift to offer, go for it!
