  Firstly the hotel is in a great location, perfect for walking around the beautiful city. Secondly some of the wait staff were fantastic the first day we got food and drinks early after our long travel which was greatly appreciated. The hotel though isn’t 5 star, after staying at many 5 star hotels across the world this is a 4 star. The rooms are not 5 star quality after spending €405 on a suite it wasn’t worth it. Comfortable enough but no bath and the bathroom needed repair. Secondly no information was given about the hotel where anything was at check in, and we thought breakfast was included in the price at no point were we told this was extra or what the charges could be. On check out we were told we had €158 worth of breakfasts to pay for, at no point was it disclosed breakfast was extra and at no point were we told the prices when I said this to the member of staff his attitude was basically so what?! This is fraud. You can’t expect a guest to pay for something firstly that they weren’t told it was a charge and secondly how much the charges are. This is a simple thing that every hotel I’ve stayed at has asked upon check in. I barely ate breakfast most days and would have liked the option to eat out instead of being conned by over 50 euros a day for a breakfast I had not agreed to pay for. I wasn’t the only one raising this point as another lady in reception after me was shocked to find out she had been billed also. Also prior to check out and with 30 minutes remaining before we had to check out I went to the room only to find 2 cleaners in there stripping beds and cleaning this is unacceptable, no rooms should be entered until a guest has checked out especially when it’s before checkout time. Overall a pleasant stay but spoilt by things you don’t expect from a hotel boasting about being 5 star, a 5 star hotel wouldn’t do this.

  Absolutely exquisite hotel! We had the perfect stay here. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, the rooms were beautiful and we loved the pool. The location could not have been more ideal -- a lovely 15 minute stroll to the port, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, but quiet enough to feel like an oasis of calm. I just wish we could have stayed longer! We're already dreaming of when we can return. Definitely highly recommended!

  The hotel is in a perfect location close to the marina and the historic center. The staff are all very nice and went above and beyond and and interacted with the guests. The rooms were spacious and we had a great view on the pool. The only negative was that we didn’t stay longer. As far as 5 stars this is by far the best one I have stayed at in France the price is very reasonable for the amenities and the hospitality that was provided
