The famous artisanal chocolate factory CRIOLLOS - well known for its Pavés de La Rochelle® - has just set up its new 240m2 chocolate manufacturing workshop in Aytré, in the Belle-Aire area.
The historical store, in the heart of La Rochelle, 21 rue Chef de ville, is now completed by a 2nd store, more accessible, in Aytré, 1 rue Newton.
You will find there their boxes of chocolate candies, bars, spreads, confectionery and various delicacies.
A "Bean-to-Bar" area - visible from the store - has been installed in order to carry out all the stages of chocolate making from the cocoa bean: Sorting, roasting, shelling, grinding, conching, molding.
The chocolate maker, recognized as one of the 60 best French chocolate makers and awarded a "Tablette d'Or" in 2022 by the "Club des Croqueurs de Chocolat", will soon offer visits/workshops on chocolate in this new space.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm, without interruption!
